Funeral services for Ivilyn Baker Johnston, 92, of Ashburn will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Harmony Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Johnston died Wednesday at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Johnston was born in Clay County, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Herbert A. and Leola Leftwich Baker. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, cooking, exercising, traveling and was a avid sports fan. She was the widow of John Allen Johnston.

She is survived by hers sons and daughters in laws, Larry Johnston, Ashburn, Ga., Jerry (Gayle) Johnston, Hazlehurst, Ga., and Mike (June) Johnston, Ashburn, Ga. She is also survived by her daughters and son il law Lalaouise Hudgins, Jonesboro, Ga. and Jill (Lloyd) Dyal, Hazlehurst, Ga. Also surviving are her sisters, Margalene Morris, Ashland, Alabama, Willowgene Bolden, Alexander City, Alabama, Regina McLain, Sylacauga, Alabama, and Narvazell Blocker, Alexander City, Alabama and eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
