Nov. 19, 1933 - April 21, 2000

John Creekmore, 66, of Ceres died Friday at Arbor Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Modesto.

Mr. Creekmore was a native of Tulsa, Okla. He lived in Ceres 52 years. He was an equipment operator for Hogan Bros.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Creekmore of Ceres; children, David Creekmore of Salem, Ore., Debra Gasavito of Coalinga, Frank Creekmore and Cathy McConnell, both of Arkansas, and Dennis Creekmore of Redding; stepchildren, Mitch Beckett of Modesto, Vickie Selvage of Turlock and Sharon Goldman of Ceres; brother, Donald Creekmore of Modesto; sister, Liz Russell of Ceres, and seven grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and five great-stepgrandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at Ceres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs.

Remembrances may be made to Community Hospice, 601 McHenry Ave., Modesto 95350.
