Charles Houseman, one of the aged and most respected citizens of that community, died at his home, one mile west of twon on Saturday, January 9th, age 78 years.
Mr. Houseman was born in Lincolnshire, England, and moved to this country at an early age. He resided for some time in Illinois, later coming to Missouri.
He leaves a widow and 4 children to morn his death. The funeral was held on Monday at 2 o'clock pm, in the Methodist Episcopalian church, Rev. L.L. Brannon, officiating, and the remains interred in the Green Ridge Cemetery, Green Ridge, Pettis County, Missouri.
