In Portland, Dec 31, Charles Coolbroth age 70. Funeral services 2 o'clock at home of brother Edwin Coolbroth, 494 Brighton Ave.
Charles C Coolbroth retired Boston & Maine engineer, died yesterday fore noon at the home of his brother Edwin Coolbroth.
Mr Coolbroth was born in Portland and had been in the employ of Boston & ME railroad for a great many years, more than 40 as an engineer and his brother a pension crew dispather, both having been in the railroad service continuously for over 50 years.
About 13 years ago, Mr Coolbroth went to Kennebunkport and ran as engineer upon the Kennebunkport branch until failing health compelled him to relinquish his duties. Last Sept he came again to Portland and made his home with his brother since.
Three sisters Mrs Martha Barker and Mrs Edward Baker of Portland, and Mrs Fred MacDonald of California, survive.
