Mr. James Minor Luke, 82, of 831 Fifteenth Street, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 1914, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hazen, Columbia County, Georgia. Interment will be in the Hazen Cemetery. Mr. Luke was well known in Augusta. He was a native of Columbia County, but had lived in Augusta for 8 years. He was a member of the Woodlawn Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge of Thomson, Georgia. Survivors include one son, Joseph E. Luke of Augusta; one daughter, Mrs. Frank Gray of Appling, Ga.; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
