Died at 6:30 Friday morning May the 6th at his residence in this place, Mr William Pendleton Brugh. His death was caused by pneumonia and his illness was only of a few days duration, all that medical skill and loving hands could do was done for him.
Mr Burgh was born and reared in Fincastle, Botetourt Co, Va, and served in the army of Northern Va, being severely wounded in the battle of Cold Harbor. In 1868 he married Miss Annnie Lackland of Virginia and moved to Eutaw in 1871, here he lived until his death. Next November he would have been 65 years of age.
