Funeral services for Benjamin Franklin Bethel, 85, will be held Saturday, June 7, at 10 a.m. in Page Funeral Chapel with Rev. Elmer G. Vevig officiating. Inter-
ment will be in Floral Memorial Park.
Mr. Bethel died Tuesday night at Selma District Hospital. He was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Califoria 33 years. The family home was at 1443
Evergreen Street. He worked for Libby, McNeill and Libby before his retirement.
He was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Survivors include his widow, Ethel Lee Bethel; seven sons, James, Robert, Leo
and Floyd Bethel of Selma; Henry Bethel of Fresno, Bennie Bethel of Menlo Park
and Fred Bethel of Del Rey; one daughter Martha McAnulty of Clovis; two brothers, Ira Bethel of Clovis and Ernest Bethel of Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Graham of Washington; 27 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
