Frances Kimbler
Frances Kimbler, 67, of 1226 Locust St. died at 10:30 a.m., Sunday at Hendrick Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Services are pending at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 542 Hickory St.
Born Dec. 23, 1914, in Oklahoma, she moved to Abilene from Colorado in 1964. She married Hollis Kimbler June 8, 1974 in Baird.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. A.C. Nelson of Caps and Mrs. Rodney Mai of Denver, Colo., two sons Ruford and James Carnahan both of Yampa, Colo.; and three brothers R. L. Mann of 1234 Locust, Cecil Mann of Abilene and John C. Mann of Salinas, Calif.
She was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include four nieces; four nephews; 19 great-nieces; four great-nephews; and six great-great-nephews. Published in: Abilene Reporter-News, 7 June 1982, Monday, Page 12.
