Henry Hollis Kimbler, 79, of Abilene, passed away Monday, November 10, 2003, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2003 at Clyde Cemetery with L. Arnold Watson officiating, directed by Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 No. 2nd St.
Hollis was born in Lone Oak, TX on February 9, 1924, to the late Ewell E. Kimbler and Annie (Allen) Kimbler. He lived in the Abilene area all his life and was a tractor diesel mechanic for W.T. McClure Machinery Company for many years.
He is survived by four brothers, Donald Keith Kimbler and wife, Chris of Lubbock, Glenn Kimbler and wife, Patsy of Charlotte, NC, Dr. (of Divinity) W.D. Kimbler and wife, Reba of Sun City, AZ and Dr. (of Divinity) Harvey Kimbler and wife, Jo Ann of Sun Lake, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Kenneth Kimbler, Ewell Kimbler, Jr. and Wayne Kimbler.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
