BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for William N. Ball, Jr., M.D. will be 3 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011, at Asbury United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Watson assisted by Rev. Michael Brady. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.
Bill was born September 5, 1963, in Shreveport, LA and died October 13, 2011, in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of Bossier City First Church of God. He was a 1985 graduate of LSUS and a 1989 graduate of LSUMC-S. While in college, he was elected to membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and while in medical school was elected to membership in The Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. At the time of his death, Dr. Ball was a Member of the The Delta Pathology Group, LLC, Omega Diagnostics, LLC, and Pathology Resource Network, LLC.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy Emanuel Ball, M.D.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.N. Ball, Sr.; sisters, Sherrie Murphy and husband Ronnie, and Margaret Judice all of Bossier City, LA; brother, Ed Ball and wife Michele of Benton, LA and a number of nieces, nephews and great nephews.
Honoring Bill as pallbearers will be Ardis Peace, Joey Wiggins, Ted Emanuel, Al "Doc" Gray, Vivek K. Khare, M.D., G. Kenneth Harrison, M.D., J. Anthony Lee, M.D., and Gregory P. Wellman, M.D.
