Bath School Disaster Victim

Carlyle was the son of Walter and Mabel Geisenhaver. He was nine years old and in the fourth grade. His report card always had high marks on it. He wanted to be a farmer like his dad. He dragged the fields, milked one particular cow and weighed the milk every night and morning. He had purchased the seed for a garden that summer to have nice vegetables, and planned on going fishing as he kept the weeds out. He always got his work done first. Carlyle was one of 45 people killed when his school was bombed one sunny spring morning. It remains as the worst attack upon a school in the history of the United States.
