Mr. Doyle was employed with Quality Guage as a toomaker for several years prior to his retirement 13 years ago. He was previously employed with Delaware Machinery and Tool Co. and City Machine Tool and Die Co. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Rose E. Springman Doyle; three daughters, Mrs. Gene (Marilyn) Scott, DeSoto, Mrs. Clyde (Marjorie) Small, Parker City, and Mrs. Janice Wynkoop, Muncie; three sons, Carl "Bob" Doyle and Charles "Dick" Doyle, both of Muncie, and Lawrence "Joe" Doyle, Albany; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Randall and two brothers, John and Donald Doyle, all of Muncie; and 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Raymond Wieber will celebrate the Mass of Resurrection at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are at Meeks Mortuary from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Friday.
