Obituary of Willie Walter Bible :

Willie Walter Bible , son of Josiah and Caroline E. Walker Bible, was born in Ohio, Aug. 12th, 1869, and passed away in Peoria Hospital Dec. 11, 1953.

At the time of his death he was 84 years, 3 months and 29 days of age.

He came to Illinois with his parents when a small boy and settled on a farm in McDonough County.

He spent all of his life in McDonough COunty except for one year when he lived on a farm near Springfield, Illinois.

He was a retired famer moving to Macomb, Ill., in 1919.

On April 11, 1897 he was united in marriage with Drew Lillie Van Winkle who passed away on July 31, 1919.

In the year 1907, a neice Lola Van Winkle was taken into this home and cared for as their own.

He leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Mrs. Etta Tracy of Keokuk, Ia., a host of neices and nephews.

The father and mother, four brothers, and two sisters, have preceded him in death. They are, brothers Ullysus Grant, Harry Edwin, Josiah Dent and Daniel Hettrich, sisters, Mrs. Ella Holliday and Ida Belle Gochauer.

He attended the West Bethel Baptist Church of Fandon.
