MRS. EDWARD ROSS DIED AT HOME NEAR WENTZVILLE
Heart Attack Caused Her Death-Funeral From St. Patrick's Church at 9 O'Clock Tuesday Morning.
Mrs. Elizabeth Ross (nee Hunsel) wife of Edward Ross of near Wentzville, passed away Saturday night, Jan. 27th, 1940, at 9 o'clock from a heart attack, at the age of 60 years and four days. Mrs. Ross was feeling as well as usual at supper time but soon after retiring she called her husband and complained of shortness of breath. Mr. Ross summoned a doctor, but she passed away soon after his arrival. Mrs. Ross was a very popular lady among a large circle of admiring friends with an amiable disposition and her unexpected death is mourned by all who knew her.
Beside her husband she leaves six children, Mrs. Catherine Freymuth, Mrs. Viola Koester and Glen Ross of St. Charles, Gilbert, Joe and Paul at home. One son, Frank, preceded her is death in 1934. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Tuesday morning, January 31st, at 8:45 o'clock from the Pittman Funeral Home at Wentzville, thence to St. Patrick's Church where services will be conducted at 9:00 oclock.
