Mr. Ross was retired and had been a metal fitter for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis. He was a member of Council 4429 of the Knights of Columbus in Hazelwood and St. Patrick's Church in Wentzville.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church, 405 South Church Street, Wentzville. Burial will be at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 9 p.m. today at the T. E. Pitman Funeral Home, 909 Pitman Avenue, Wentzville.
Among survivors are his wife, Lucille W. Ross of Wentzville; one son, Paul G. Ross of Wentzville; one brother, Joseph E. Ross of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.
