William Henry Vandruff was born in Williamstown, Mo., March 18, 1871. He was the son of George and Sarah Moore Vandruff. He passed away Thursday afternoon July 3, 1958, at the Walker Nursing Home. He had been in failing health for 3 years. He moved to Kahoka from Williamstown, Mo. 40 years ago. He had operated a second-hand store in Kahoka. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and four sisters, Eura (Harry) Ingram, Lillie (Lillburn) Mussetter, Birdie (John) Blessing, and Florence Vandruff. He is survived by several nieces and nephews - Roy and George Blessing of Downing, Mo., Guy Blessing of Knoxville, Ia., Marie McFarland, Marshalltown, Ia., Gladys Bertram and Deda Bowen of Oakland, Calif., Lillian Balsley of Otranto, Ia.
