David Buford Jenkins, 80, a retired truck driver of Sallis, died of respiratory failure Sunday, January 7 at Methodist Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were held at 11 Tuesday, January 9 at Jordan Funeral in Kosciusko with burial in Sallis Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was a lifelong SalIis resident and a member of Sallis Baptist Church.
Survivors include: wife, Monnie; son, David Jenkins of Indianola, Jerry Jenkins of Sallis and Ray Jenkins of Kosciusko; sisters, Mary Weir of Jackson and Minnie McClellan of Lexington; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
