Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call any time at White Funeral Home, Independence, where there will be a rosary at 3, vigil service at 7 and military service at 8 p.m. today.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; two daughters, Carole Schultes of Bettendorf and Marilyn Blough of Washburn; two sons, Larry of Marshalltown and Gordon of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Wayne of Los Angeles; and three sisters, Bernice Jamason and Evelyn Wilkinson, both of Cedar Rapids, and Agnes Fiester of Independence.
