Thomas was the son of William Robert Wallace and Elizabeth Matilda Knight Gauntt Kyle.
W.R.W was born in S.C. Elizabeth was born in Alabama.
They were married in Henderson County, Texas in 1868.
Elizabeth was his fourth wife.
They had two children; Thomas James Malone and Julia E.
W.R.W. had lived in Elkhart, Anderson County when he married his third wife, Mary Jane Bennett.
Mary Jane died 1867 in Henderson County, Texas and buried there.
The Kyles moved back to Elkhart, Anderson County after
Thomas was born.
He married Gertrude Quarles, daughter of W.W. Quarles and Eliza C. Neal Quarles.
