Retired Elkhart Businessman Dies
S.B. Kyle, 94-year-old retired Elkhart businessman, died at his home Wednesday at 12:40 p.m. He had operated a hotel there for a number of years.
Funeral arrangements, incomplete Wednesday afternoon, will be announced later by Hassell & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine.
Survivors include his wife, several nieces and nephews.

Was born to William Robert Wallace and Mary Jane Bennett
Kyle. W.R.W. was born in S.C. Mary Jane was born in Ill.
Mary was his third wife.
Mary Jane Bennett was the daughter of Stephen and Harriet Darnall Bennett, who came to Houston Co, (later Anderson Co). Texas in 1835 with the Parker Wagon Train with his parents, Armistead and Faith Bennett.
W.R.W. and Mary Jane moved their family to Athens, Henderson County, Texas.
Mary Jane Kyle died in Athens and was buried there.
Stephen married Sallie Biddie Little
No record of children.
