Andrew was born Oct. 27, 1838 at Grosse Point, MI and died Sep. 25, 1920 at Elk Rapids, MI, aged 81 years, 10 months and 28 days and was probably buried there in Maple Grove Cemetery.

On November 29, 1866 Andrew was united in marriage to May Lindsay Rankin in a Presbyterian ceremony performed by Rev. George Duffield at Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She died May 4, 1922 at Elk Rapids, Michigan. Their children were: Charlotte, b. 5 Jul 1870; Effie, b. 8 May 1872; Grace, b. 10 Apr 1874; Kirby, b. 31 Oct 1875, d. 18 Apr 1876; Eugenie, b. 6 Jun 1877, d. 6 Jul 1877; Guy, b. 13 Nov 1878; Ray, b. 10 Jun 1881; Joe, b. 14 Oct 1884; & Elizabeth, b. 13 May 1886.Name: Andrew Laforge
