Raymond A. Armstrong, 58, 922 N. Harrison, was dead on arrival at Stormont-Vail Hospital Wednesday. He had been ill for a longtime.
He was born Nov. 7, 1913 at Circleville and spent most of his life in Silver Lake and Topeka. Mr. Armstrong had worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a section worker.
Survivors include 3 sons, Jack Armstrong, Rossville, Francis J. Armstrong, Silver Lake, and R. Vern Armstrong, Whiting;2 sisters, Mrs. Grace Silver, and Mrs. J.C. Schonfeldt, both of Topeka; 4 brothers, Elmer Armstrong, Atlanta, Go., Albert Armstrong, Topeka, Ellis Armstrong, Twin Falls, Utah, and Scott Armstrong, Wichita; and 6 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
