She was born Oct. 5, 1922, in Wetmore, to Grant and Martha Turnbull Deahl. She had worked at the Merry Manor nursing home in Holton and Silver Lake Nursing Home in Silver Lake.
She was a member of the Bible Church in Rossville.
She married Raymond Armstrong on June 14, 1939, in Topeka. He died Dec. 29, 1971. She married Marvin Marx in 1973. He also died.
Survivors include sons, Jack Armstrong, Overbrook, Francis J. "Jim" Armstrong, Silver Lake, and Vern Armstrong, Rossville; a sister, Olive Bishop, Truth or Consequences, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
