Fred Kelley, who was recently honorably discharged from Camp Taylor, and Miss Rhoda Witwer, of this city, eloped to Chicago January 25, where they were married. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Witwer, 319 South Mill street, and has been employed in the office of the Mishawaka Woolen Mfg. Co. for some time. She graduated from the Mishawaka High school with the class of 1911. The groom is a former Mishawakan, having been employed in the credit department at the Mishawaka Woolen Mfg. Co.

Saturday noon the girls of the Woolen Co. office surprised Mrs. Kelley with a tinware shower.

Mr. and Mrs. Kelley will reside in Akron, Ohio."

Services for Rhoda Witwer Kelley, 95, of Bettendorf, Iowa, formerly of Mishawaka, who died about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, Iowa, after an illness wil be at 11 a.m. in Bubb Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker. She was born Apr. 27, 1892, in North Canton, Ohio. In 1919 in Chicago, as Rhoda Witwer, she Married Fred Kelley. He died in 1959. Surviving are a daughter, Martha J. Kollings of Tesqueta, Fla.; two sons, John W., of Oceanside, Calif. and James E. of Bettendorf; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren."
