Daughter of George Walter and Curley Alford Floyd. Doretha married (1) Herbert Charles Foxworth, and (2) Donald Rowell.

MARION - Doretha Foxworth Rowell, 85, died Monday, October 10, 2011 at Mullins Nursing Center. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Marion Baptist Church. Burial will follow at New Life Cemetery, directed by Richardson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rowell was born in Aynor, a daughter of the late Walter and Curly Floyd. She is also predeceased by her first husband, H.C. Foxworth, and second husband, Donald Rowell.

She was a graduate of Mullins Hospital Nursing School and was a retired nurse having worked for Finger Clinic Hospital, English Park Medical Center, and McLeod's Hospital Systems. Mrs. Rowell was a member of Marion Baptist Church where she was a member of Fidelis Sunday School.

Surviving are her son, Michael Foxworth (Robin) of Woodstock, GA; daughter, Debra White (Rodney) of Marion; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
