From the Bellingham Herald of 22 Oct 1946:
NELSON--Lottie Gertrude Nelson, age 67 years, 610 West Illinois Street, passed away at a local hospital, Monday, October 21. Mrs. Nelson had resided here the past fifty-eight years and was a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans and a past president of the D.A.R. The remains are at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. Russel Gregg Bisnett, Wednesday, October 23, at 1:30 p.m. Final resting place, Bay View.
