George was born in Oswego, Kendall Co. IL. to Walter Pearce & Perlina Davis. (Perlina was Walter's first wife). He had 7 older half siblings and one younger brother James.

Josinah and Walter got married in Dec. 27, 1854. I looked it up in the Pearce Book and George was the last child born to Walter and Perlina, James B and Douglas Pearce were Josinah's children with Walter. The book also states that 'George died about 1911. Married Abbie Smith. Lived on
part of father's homestead for several years. Moved to
state of Oregon. Three children.'
