Form an article writen By James Bush Caudry about his grandfather.
He was an eccentrie old man. He never permited a cook stove to be brought into his house. The old fasioned fireplace retained its position in his respect for a long time. He remembers he would help his grandfather mould tallow candles. It was about this time that the first McCormick reaper was placed on the market. He bough one and gave it a trial in his field. It disgusted him when it refused to work and he threw it away saying that it wasted too much grain!!
Given to me, Donna Westwood by Yoland Caudry Cunningham
