James Abbey. 81. died early Saturday morning at his residence, 227 W. Fourth St. His death was due to the infirmities of age. Mr. Abbey was well known in the city, having been in the drug business at 34 S. Main St. until several years ago when he retired from active business. He was born, in Northampton, England, and came to this county when quite young, coming directly to Dayton where he was engaged in the drug business until his retirement. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sarah E. Pfaff, of Wyoming, O.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a. m., from his late residence. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery.
