Mrs. Ina Leota Thorne, 79, of Dorcas, died July 18, 2004, at Grant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg.
Born April 29, 1925, in Grant County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Wellington "Willie" Riggleman and Bertha Rachel (Goldizen) Riggleman. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Orville Z. Alt, June 30, 1960; her second husband, J. Cletus Thorne, Jan. 7, 2003.
She is survived by one son, Leon L. Alt and wife Phyllis of Dorcas; one daughter, Yvonne Hinkle and husband Sam of Moorefield; two stepdaughters, Carolyn P. Sites and husband Estel, and Geraldine Alt, all of Petersburg; one sister, Darlene Crites of Fisher; one brother, Paul L. Riggleman of Wooster, Ohio; four grandchildren, Robin Smith, David Alt, Kelly Hinkle and Wade Rohrbaugh; six stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted July 20, at the Brake Church of the Brethren, Dorcas, with interment in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville.
