Ed DeMoss, a Magic Valley resident for 40 years, died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Benedict's hospital. He was 75.

Mr. DeMoss was born Aug. 7, 1881, in Decatur, Ill. He moved to the Filer and Buhl area in 1917. He moved to Jerome from Filer four years ago. He was a member of the Jerome Methodist Church.

Surviving is four daughters, Mrs. William Stample of Buhl; Mrs. Tom Prescott of Jerome; Mrs. Orville Sackett of Filer; and Mrs. Roy Smith, Lewiston; one son, Wilbur DeMoss of Kimberly; a brother, E. W. DeMoss, Peru, Kans.; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

His wife, Mrs. Emma (Wood) DeMoss, preceded him in death on Oct. 3, 1951.
