The Loomis genealogy of the Jacob Oberholtzer family got the first two generations of this family badly wrong. It's not possible that Jacob Oberholtzer's wife Deborah was the daughter of Christian and Catharine (Krey) Haldeman, who were younger than Jacob Jr. Any daughter of theirs could not possibly have been the mother to Jacob Jr's children born in the 1730s and 1740's. And how could Deborah Krey born c.1711 have been the mother of Jacob Oberholtzer Jr. born c.1710? Another obvious error.

The correct answer here is that Deborah Krey was married to her contemporary Jacob Jr. (whose wife was known to have been named Deborah) and not to the 25-year-older Jacob Sr., for whom there is no evidence of a wife named Deborah.

The administrators bond on Jacob's estate was filed in Philadelphia on Feb 11, 1755. That means he died sometime before that date. His exact date of death is unknown.
