Brother Dennison never considered himself a preacher, yet I have heard him preach many sermons that might be classed with the best. He also took part in several debates, in which he proved himself as an able defender of the faith. Being zealous in the cause of Christ, and being surrounded by the sects, many were the conflicts he had with them; yet, possessing a strong mind and a studious disposition, even their leaders gave him no trouble. He died in full assurance of faith, and leaves a Christian wife, three sons and one daughter to follow after.
