Records indicate that she was married first to John Broughton (1615-1662) in 1650. She would have been only 14 years of age at that time, so I question the marriage date, but I also have found a child, John Broughton (Jr?), born in 1654, who died in 1731, as well as children, Hannah Broughton (1656-1657), Mary Broughton (1658-1689), Sarah Broughton (1658-1752), and Thomas Broughton (1661-1693).
Records indicate that Hannah married William Janes on 20 Nov 1662 as his second wife. She then had children with William Janes: William Janes (Jr?), Samuel Janes, Hepzibah Janes, Benjamin Janes.
Mary Hannah Bascom Broughton Janes died 16 Mar 1681 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts and is buried in Northampton.
