Beatrice Margaret (Adler) Head, 81 passed away Sunday, June 17,2007 in El Paso, Texas. She played semi-pro basketball even though she was only 5 foot three she could hang tight with the best of them. Mother was a great sports enthusiast, she loved to fish, bowl, play volleyball and most of all, play cards. She loved to win and most of the time she did. She also enjoyed gardening and she co-owned El Paso Whell Alignment. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vida Head, son Everett Duane Adler and granddaughter, Susan Adler, sisters, Audrel McCardie, Evelyn Lewis and brother, Edgar Head. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann Douglass and husband, Buddy and Trudy Elaine Wells and her husband Loy; grandchildren, Lawrence Douglass (Debi), Christopher Douglass (Mary), Kallie Lunsford (Eugene) and Everett Wells (Prasanta) and William Adler: Great-grandchildren, Rex Douglass, Derek Russell and Denny Douglass; great-great-grandchildren, Nicole Lunsford and Kathan Wells. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her dogs, Mitz and Goldi. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kasher-Maxon & Fultrell Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 22nd at Restlawn Memorial Park, 8700 Dyer Street with Pastor Tom Brown officiating. We would like to request that donations be made in her name to the Humane Society of El Paso.
