Long time resident of Hardin County Passed Away Monday Afternoon--Funeral Today in Hubbard
With the death of Mrs. Charles Boody, aged 84 years, Monday afternoon, at the old homestead, west of Eldora, in Pleasant Township, another of the pioneer residents of Hardin County has gone to her reward.
Mrs. Boody's maiden name was Sarah Rousseau. With her husband she came to Hardin County in 1855, and materially aided in laying deep the foundations of society that we know today. Mrs. Boody is survived by her aged husband, four grown children and a lot of friends. The funeral is being held today from the old home and burial will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery.
