"Lois G Rifenberic (sic) [Rifenberick], 63, of Corry, RD 1, died Tuesday afternoon following a lengthy illness. She was born June 27, 1913, at Leechburg, a daughter of Hugh and Nellie Cline Callen. On Oct 24, 1937, she married Harold Rifenberic[k], who survives. Mrs Rifenberic[k] was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartansburg. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Dr David Rifenberic[k] of Glen Burnie, Md, Donald Rifenberic[k] of Prior Lake, Minn, Daniel Rifenberic[k] of Union City, and Alan Rifenberic[k] at home; two daughters, Mrs Clyde (Margaret) Earls of Corry, RD 1, and Holly Rifenberic[k] of Trenton, NJ; two sisters, Mrs John (Ruth) Waughaman (sic) [Waugaman] of Cambridge Springs, and Margaret Callen of Bellevue; her mother-in-law, Mrs Ava Rifenberic[k] of Spartansburg; and 11 grandchildren. Three sisters and three brothers died previously. Friends may call at the H Richard Hays Funeral Home, Spartansburg...and attend the funeral there Friday at 2 pm with Rev Richard Coston, pastor of [the] Spartansburg First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg."
