HARRODSBURG (Spl.) -Jack Phender, 56, of Louisville, formerly of Mercer County, died Tuesday at Norton Infirmary, Louisville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Tungate Phender; three sisters, Mrs. Sudie Woodrum of Caneyville, Mrs. Eula Puryear of Lewisport and Mrs. Mary Jackson of Louisvville; two brothers, Paul T. of Lexington and Charles Phender of Louisville and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home here, with burial in Bethel Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Marion County. The body will be taken from Ratterman Funeral Home. Louisville, to Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.
