CHESNEE- Funeral services for Homer A. Bond, 59, former cattle dealer and carpenter, will be held at Arrowwood Baptist Church Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Revs. Mr. Beason Thorne and Charles A. Atkinson will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Scruggs, W.L. Watson, Hoover Bond, James Bond, Harmon Bond, Clyde Bond, Bill Roach, and Stanley Bond.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Lovelace Bond; 2 children, Mrs. Juanita Hodges and Cecil Bond of Chesnee; 2 brothers, John and Charlie Bond of Johnson City, TN; and 3 grandchildren.
Blackwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments. The body will remain at the home until 2 p.m. when it will be placed in the church.
