Newtonia, Mo.- Mrs. Margaret Landreth, 97, Newtonia, died at 9:07 am Saturday at a Neosho nursing home after a long illness.

Mrs. Landreth was born Nov. 25, 1883, in Newtonia, and was a lifetime resident here. She was the oldest member of Newtonia First Baptist Church. Her husband Walter Landreth, died Oct. 7, 1950.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Patterson, Granby route 2, and Mrs. Geneva Guy, Tulsa, Okla; a son, Jerry Landreth, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at Newtonia First Baptist Church. The Rev. John Tygart and the Rev. Roy Moody will officiate. Burial will be in Newtonia IOOF Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Price Landreth, Laverne Landreth, Harry Landreth, Arol Landreth, Joe Landreth and Gary Landreth. Services are under direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, Mo.
