NOV 30, 1893
Died, in Newtonia on Tuesday, November 28th, 1893, Dick Arnall, little son of Mr. and Mrs. John Arnall, aged five years, eight months and five days.

Little Dick was an unusually bright child, affectionate and full of cute ways which made him a favorite with everybody in town. He was almost idolized by his parents and other near relatives.

Although so young, he seemed to realize that death was near, for a few hours before he died, he asked for each one of the family and his grandmother and aunt to come and let him kiss them and then he asked for his dog, Bob, and when the dog was called to his bedside he patted it on the head and said, "Goodbye, Bob."

Little Dick's vacant place leaves a wide gape in the home circle. The relatives have the sympathy of the whole community. The remains were interred in the Newtonia cemetery on Wednesday, Elder Largen conducting the funeral services.
