Mrs. Cotner was born April 30, 1988 in Rolla. She was united in marriage to Josh Martin Cotner on January 4, 2008. She died September 24, 2011 in Springfield at the age of 23 years.
Survivors include her husband, Josh of Springfield; parents, Tania and John Connell; grandparents, Barbara Jean Rhoads and husband, David, Beverly Freeze, George Cotner and wife, Lela, all of Salem; brother, Brad Delashmit and fiancé Alicia Devereaux of Salem; sisters, Regina Connell, Laura Connell and Lacie Connell, all of Salem, Crystal Gibbs and husband, Brad, of Rolla, Tina Love and husband, Jimmy, of Jonesburg, Lisa Connell of Salem, Anna Stacy of Centerville; father in law, Martin Cotner and wife, Linda of Salem; mother in law, Faith Huffman of Little Rock, Ark.; sister in law, Stephanie Cannon and husband, Eric of Rayford, NC; and several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents, Lester and Juanita Connell, maternal grandfather, Elmer Martin and aunt Shelly Shaw.
Mrs. Cotner was a member of James River Assembly Church and enjoyed baking, motorcycle riding and hunting.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Sarah Cotner family. Cards may be obtained at Wilson Mortuary.
