Dixie Jean "Frazier" Cannon, 77, of Tyrone passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas. Dixie was born February 3, 1934 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, the daughter of Clarence & Eula Dickerson Frazier. She went to school in Tecumseh and graduated from Tecumseh High School with the Class of 1952. She was united in marriage to Lonnie Dale Cannon on May 1, 1952. They have made Tyrone their home and have been married for 59 years. Dixie was a member of the Tyrone Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing but most of all her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two sons, Craig and Bill, her parents, four sisters and one brother. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Lonnie of the home; three daughters, Carrie Cannon of Wichita, Kansas, Jeannie Pidilla of Guymon, Oklahoma and Becky Tovar of Garden City, Kansas; grandsons, T.J., Jesse, Colin, Andrew, Stephen, and Nathan; granddaughters, Jaci, Jessica, and Brionne; five great grandsons and five great granddaughters and a host of family. Memorials are suggested to the Tyrone Cemetery Fund or the charity of the donor's choice and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Tyrone Baptist Church in Tyrone, Oklahoma with Rev. Charles Sappington officiating. Interment will be in the Tyrone Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. in Hooker, Oklahoma.
