Del City resident Ruth Irene Singleton, 88, passed away Saturday, August 11, in Midwest City.
She was born Aug. 27, 1918, in Tecumseh to Clarence Frazier and Eula Dickerson.
She attended Harjo Schools. She married Charlie Singleton.
She attended Crossroads Church, enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and working.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Singleton; brother, Homer; and two sisters, Alice and Bell.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Johnson and Glen of Del City, and Sharon Woods and John of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Trina Kniffen, Pamela Paddock, Kimberly Coker, Gary Beavers, Edward Johnson, Steven Faulkner, Russell Faulkner, Dean Faulkner and John Woods; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Nichole, Madison, Tim, Thomas, Russell, Ronald Lee, Danielle, Christina, Lisa, Tashia and Brian; great-great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jordan; sisters, Martha McKee, Margie Wren, Betty McKinney and Dixie Cannon.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gary Bohannon officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park
