Courtney P. Hollar, 81, of 23 North Earl St., Shippensburg, died Saturday, Sept. 25, in the Chambersburg Hospital.

born Dec. 1, 1894, in Shippensburg, he was a son of the late Carl and Bernice Hargleroad Hollar. He was married to Clara Fry Hollar.

In 1960 he retired as the proprietor of Just-A-Resaurant and was a member of the Minnequa Club. Mr. Hollar was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rae Foust, Greencastle, and Mrs. Galen (Bernice) Gates, Shippensburg.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, Sept. 28, at 10:30 a.m. from the J. William Barbour Funeral Home, 142 East King St., Shippensburg, with Rev W. Kyle McQuillen Jr. officiating. Internment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service Tuesday.
