Mike Koch

Mike Koch, 90 a resident of Woodburn for 41 years, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, at his home.

Born in Metendorf, Germany, on May 24, 1878, he came to the United States in 1883. In 1923 he moved from Stickney, S.D., to Woodburn. Mr. Koch, a retired farmer, was a member of the Woodburn Knights of Columbus since 1925.

Survivors include the widow, Catherine; five sons, William C. of Salem, Peter J. and Lawrence J., both of St. Paul, George N. of Oswego and Edward F. of Portland; six daughters, Theresia Zuber and Dororthy Brittan, both of Woodburn, Magdaline Kirsch, Anna M. Gooding, Elizabetha M Van de Wiele and Clara A. Kirsh all of St. Paul, and 40 grandchildren.

Rosary will be Friday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m., in the Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Chapel. Mass will be on Saturday, Oct. 19 in St. Luke's Catholic church with interment in the church cemetery.
