Harry H. Ackerman, 85, of Meyersdale died Jan. 30, 1979, at Meyerdale Community Hospital. He was born Aug. 11, 1893, at Glencoe RD, a son of the late Paul and Leah (Christner) Ackerman. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Emma Beal; and a son, Simon. He is survived by these children; Emmitt of Grantsville, Md.; Paul and Stella Swauger, both of Canton, Ohio; also 17
grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. He was a brother of Irvin of Meyersdale. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd
