Anita, age 83, died at Labette County Medical Center in Parsons. She was the daughter of Alvin and Eudora (Nixon) Gilfillan. She graduated from Edna (KS) High School. She married Howard B. Stine in 1930. Survivors include her son, Walter Stine, her siblings, Robert Gilfillan, Glen Gilfillan, and Gertrude Mull, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Elm Christian Church. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery.
