Robert, age 93, passed away at Medicalodges of Coffeyville. He was the son of Alvan and Eudora (Nixon) Gilfillan. He worked in the gold mines in Arizona and served in the US Army. He married Elise Louise Banzet on September 11, 1946, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Survivors include his wife and his siblings, Glenn Gilfillan and Gertrude Mull. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Anita Stine, and two brothers. Services were held at United Methodist Church in Edna. Burial was in North Edna Cemetery, with Masonic services.
