Mrs. Anna Amanda Eliza Badtke, 94, of near Platte City, died Monday at the home. She was born in Bristol, Wis., and had lived in this area since 1927. Mrs. Badtke was a member of the Hoover Christian church near Platte City. She leaves two sons, Walter Badtke,Indianola, Iowa and Elferd Badtke of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Ella Nichols of the home, and a sister Mrs. Emma Badtke, Ripon, Wisc. Services will be at 2:30 pm Wednesday at the church. Burial in the Platte City cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Hanks Chapel, Smithville. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the church.
